For a long time, I thought changing my life required huuuuge, grinding overhauls.
I’d read dozens of self-help books, take notes like a maniac, highlight every page, watch tons of those “fix your life” YouTube videos and slap motivational quotes all over my wall.
Every single time, I’d think: “Alhamdulillah, THIS will finally fix my life”
Only to give up on day 3 and crash-land right back to my ruts.
But the BIGGEST shifts in my life - the one that actually purified my Nafs, pulled me out of heedlessness, increased my Imaan and brought Allah’s guidance and blessings into my life - they didn’t come from any of the above.
They came from 2 sunnah du’as I had written down in a tiny pocket notebook
It flipped my reality so heavy that I refuse to keep the blueprint to myself.
In this letter, we’re also going to cover:
The Divine Laws for getting ALL your du’as answered,
The exact high-acceptance times to make them, and
A list of beautiful Sunnah Du'as that will change your life spiritually, mentally, physically and financially and grant you all the blessings & success in Dunya and Akhirah.
All straight from Qur’an & the Sunnah.
I spent over 10 hours distilling everything I learned into this 20-minute blueprint. Yes, it’s a long read. But I promise you, it will be worth every single second of your time if you stick till the end.
If you're running short on time, feel free to skip over the things you're already familiar with - just make sure you don't miss a single line of the frameworks you don't know.
Bismillah Let’s begin.
To start, let me give you the exact two Du'as Allah used as one of the greatest means of changing my life.
When I was about to be locked in that brutal hostel preparing for my medicine entrance test (the full story is in this letter), I had jotted down the following two Sunnah Du'as in a pocketbook before I went.
Every single day for a year, I would read them along with the morning adhkars while I was in the bus on the way to my daily classes.
(I used read the Mornin adhkar well after sunrise back then, but don’t repeat my mistake! The true reward lies in reciting them before sunrise.)
So, these were the 2 du’as:
My Lord, help me and do not help others against me. Grant me victory and do not grant victory to others over me. Plan in my favour and do not plan for others against me. Guide me and ease guidance for me. Help me against those who oppress me. My Lord, make me one who is extremely grateful to You, who remembers you always, who perpetually fears You, who is fully obedient to You, who is humble before You, who constantly cries and pleads with You, and who repeatedly turns to You in repentance. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sins, accept my supplications, strengthen my case, rectify my speech, guide my heart, and remove the malice from my heart.
O Allah, with Your knowledge of the unseen and Your absolute power over the creation, let me live in this world as long as You know my living is good for me; and give me death when You know death is better for me. O Allah, I ask You for Your fear in private and in public, and for the word of truth in times of joy and anger. I ask You for moderation in poverty and in wealth. I ask You for endless blessings and perpetual delights. I ask You to make me pleased with destiny; for a cool and comfortable life after death; for the pleasure of seeing Your Face; and for the longing to meet You, without any painful ordeals and tribulations that misguide. O Allah, adorn us with the beauty of faith, and make us those who guide others and are guided themselves.
What Happened Next Was Wonder
Wallahi, my eyes still fill when I look back at how beautifully Allah answered those exact words.
Until that point, I was a total checklist Muslim, completely drowning in distractions and heedlessness.
I was the type who prayed just because it was a box to tick, who read the Qur'an daily without it ever truly reaching down into my heart.
A year later, masha'Allah la quwwata illa billah, my entire relationship with Him had completely changed.
He had saved me from the watered-down version of Islam I was practising and granted me a real, raw Muslim identity that I was proud of.
He had guided me into someone who’s mindful of Him at all times, more aware of Haram and Halal aspects of Life.
He had shifted me from being Dunya-centered to being Akhirah-centered.
He had granted me a peaceful relationship with Salah and the Qur'an.
He had purified my heart from much of malices.
He had turned my character to become 10x better and kinder
He guided me back to the pure teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah as understood by the Salaf (the righteous early generation), freeing me from much of the confusion and innovations that had clouded my path.
And so much more. Subhanallahh
This is why I tell you, my friend - The distance between you and the Throne of Allah is only as far as a sincere du’a, asked repeatedly, while taking the effort you can.
Never underestimate what Allah can change through a sincere du'a repeated day after day.
So copy them, screenshot them, and start reading them daily, insha Allah! 🥹
(More of my favorite, life changing Du'as like these from the Sunnah are at the end of this letter. I beg you - pls do not miss them!)
Manifestation Does Not Exist my friend
Seeing how raw Du'a completely flipped my reality makes me look at the internet's obsession with "manifestation" and laugh.
Let’s be real: manifestation is just forgetting the Creator while relying foolishly on the creation.
As a Muslim, you do not manifest anything, you have a direct line to the creator. You just make Du'a.
So whoever disbelieves in ṭāghūt [False objects of worship, such as idols, heavenly bodies, spirits, human beings, etc.] and believes in Allāh has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
Du’a is a form of worship. To add partners in it is to commit shirk.
When you see secular "manifestors" get what they want, it’s not some mindless universe granting their wish.
It is Allah giving out of His universal mercy for everyone - and it is a test.
Now, don't confuse manifestation with vision boards.
It’s when you stick the pics of your dream life, targets, and goals on a board—that ain't manifestation and that ain't shirk.
Why? Because you're just looking at your inner dreams (visualizing) every day to keep your mind focused instead of just vaguely imagining them.
You have full knowledge it will happen only if Allah wills.
You understand completely that just staring at a piece of paper every morning won't move anything forward.
It is your physical efforts to make it a reality + Allah's sovereign will and His tawfiq (divine help) that actually makes things happen.
As Allah says in the Qur’an:
“there is not for a man except what he strives for.”
But here is the mental shift you have to lock into:
No matter how hard you work, it won't happen if He does not will it.
(Think about that the next time you're grinding for a goal while skipping salah and neglecting the Qur'an. It makes zero sense - the One you are ignoring is the ONLY One who can actually give you what you're chasing after.)
And on the flip side, no matter how impossible it seems, it will happen if Allah wills.
As simple as that.
You do the physical work, but you don't put your trust in your effort. You put your trust in the One who controls the outcomes.
And His power does not play by human logic or worldly limitations.
Look at how Ibrahim (A) and Sara got a child at old age.
Look at how Isa (A) was born without a father.
What seems impossible to you is nothing for Him.
He is “على كل شيء قدير”—over all things capable.
But don't twist this.
Just because Allah can change your reality in a split second doesn't mean you sit on your hands and wait.
This is where Tawakkul comes in.
Think about the Bedouin who asked Prophet Muhammad ﷺ if he should leave his camel untied and trust in Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Tie your camel first, then put your trust in Allah."
This is the blueprint.
You don't just pray. You also keep moving and doing whatever you can.
Back then, I was not just making the Du'as and waiting around passively for my life to change.
It also required me doing the effort myself.
• I put myself in the right environments - joining circles of knowledge, making friends with righteous people, keeping an open heart, and being receptive to reminders when my ego wanted to snap back.
• I read good books on purifying the character (like “Enjoy Your Life” by Shaykh Al Arifi - a 100/10 book which I can’t ever recommend to you enough) and actually tried to apply the lessons.
• I forced myself to be consistent with the morning and evening adhkars, which literally protect you from a massive amount of sharr (evil) and spiritual and mental sabotage throughout the day.
You do the work to show Allah your sincerity, and then you leave the results to Him.
The Divine Laws & Etiquette of Getting Your Asks Answered
If you want your du'as answered, you need to understand the spiritual laws & etiquette behind them
The Laws
1. The Law of Yaqeen (Unshakable Certainty)
You cannot make Du'a as a nervous backup plan.
Allah says in a Hadith Qudsi: “I am as My servant thinks of Me.”
If you ask while subconsciously thinking, "Well, this probably won't work, but let me just try it anyway," you get exactly what you expected.
You must ask with the absolute certainty that the King of the universe can fix your entire life in a split second.
BE DELUSIONAL WITH YOUR DU'AS.
You think your Du'as are too much?
Well, what’s harder: to give you that dream spouse, that perfect job, or that ideal life, or to create the heavens, the earth, the vast oceans, and everything above and between them with stunning beauty and unmatched precision?
Yeah. You are asking the Lord of the worlds.
Do not ever limit what He can give you based on your current, tiny reality.
“When one of you asks for something from Allah, then let him be plentiful (in what he asks for), for indeed he is asking his Lord.”
“When you ask Allah, ask for al-Firdaws (the highest level of Jannah).”
So be delusional. Be completely certain that Allah can change your entire life overnight, for good.
“Make du‘ā’ to Allah whilst you are certain of a response, because Allah does not accept a du‘ā’ from a heedless, distracted heart.”
The Muslims who build incredible lives don't pray with hesitation. They have absolute, unshakable belief in Allah’s power. So stop looking at people who are doing amazing in life and feeling like it's out of reach. Take their success as direct proof of what your Lord can do, and let it skyrocket your own yaqeen.
2. The Law of Persistence & Timing
Whoever keeps knocking on the door will eventually have it opened for them.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him, He becomes shy to return them empty.”
Do not despair when things don't happen quickly.
Do not think that the fruit of your du'a is delayed; the Lord has prepared it to bloom exactly when the right time comes.
“The du‘ā’ of every one of you is accepted as long as he does not grow impatient and says: ‘I made du‘ā’ but it was not accepted.’”
Part of having true Tawakkul means you trust His plans even when your life doesn’t seem to be moving in the direction you want.
Remain optimistic and ignore the whispers of shaytān.
3. The Law of the Three Outcomes
There is a profound, beautiful divine wisdom behind every "unanswered" du'a.
He isn't rejecting you; He’s either protecting you or preparing an upgrade.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “No Muslim makes du‘ā’ which does not ask for a sin or the cutting the ties of kinship without Allah giving him one of three:
He fulfils his du‘ā’ immediately.
He averts from him an equivalent evil.
hE stores the reward of that Dua to give to them in the Hereafter
The Companions (radiy Allāhū ‘anhum) said: “If that is so, we will make du‘ā’ even more.”
He ﷺ replied: “Allah will respond even more.” (Aḥmad)
In fact, the upgrade in the Akhirah is so massive that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“On the Day of Resurrection, when a person sees the rewards stored for their unanswered du'as, they will wish that none of their prayers had ever been answered in the Dunya.”
The Etiquette
1. The Sandwich Method
When you sit down to make du'a, always structure your prayer this way for the highest chance of acceptance:
Praise Allah (Alhamdulillahi rabbil Alameen and its various forms)
Send Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ
Seek forgiveness for your sins (Astagfirullaha wa atubu ilahi, Prophet Yunus’s Du’a)
Ask Allah with His beautiful names, then say your specific du'as
Seek forgiveness again
Send Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ
Praise Allah.
2. The "Firmness" Rule (Never Say Insha Allah)
Never say "Insha Allah" when making a du'a for yourself or someone else.
Do not say: "May Allah cure you, Insha Allah."
Say: "May Allah cure you. Ameen."
Saying "Insha Allah" implies hesitation, as if you are leaving a backup option.
Ask what you need from your Creator with firm intent.
3. Total Desperation and Cleanliness
Be Needy: Break down in utter desperation and beg Allah on a daily basis, as though your life depended on it and you could not survive without it. Because it DOES!
Humble yourself in front of Him, fearing His punishment and hoping for His reward.
This is the entire purpose of prayer.
“People! It is you who stand in need of God, whereas He Alone is Free of all needs, worthy of all praise.”
“Supplicate to your Lord humbly and secretly…and supplicate to Him in fear and hope.”
Pray in Times of Ease: Build the habit when things are good, not just when your life is falling apart.
“Remember Allah during times of ease and He will remember you during times of hardship.”
Check Your Income Sources:
Avoid sinning and consuming harām, as spiritual blockages stop your prayers from rising.
The Prophet ﷺ talked about a travelling man beseeching Allah saying: ‘O Lord! O Lord!’ but “his food was unlawful, his drink was unlawful, his clothing was unlawful, and he was nourished with unlawful; so how will his du‘ā’ be accepted?!”
TIMES OF HIGH ACCEPTANCE
Increase du‘ā’ in these times and situations:
1. The end of the fard prayers before salam.
The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: "Which supplication is heard most?"
He said: "The last part of the night, and at the end of the compulsory prayers
Qari Uwaimir Sahib said: “Ever since I began reciting these two verses during Tashahhud (before salam), I was blessed with the opportunity to visit the House of Allah multiple times every year.”
“And show us our rites (of worship), and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Most Merciful.”
'Allah is sufficient for us! Allah will grant us out of His bounty, and so will His Messenger. To Allah alone we turn our hopes.'
2. Between adhān & iqāmah.
"The supplication is not rejected between the Adhan and the Iqamah."
3. The last third part of the night.
"Our Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when the last third of the night remains and says: ‘Who is supplicating to Me so that I may answer him?’
4. Whilst in sajdah.
"The nearest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so make many supplications (in this state)."
5. Whilst fasting and when opening the fast.
“There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person
6. The last 1h before magrib of the day of Jumu‘ah.
"Friday has twelve hours. There is no Muslim servant who asks Allah for something during it except that He gives it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."
7. Day of ‘Arafah.
"The best of supplication is the supplication of the Day of 'Arafah..."
8. When one asks Allah with His Greatest Names.
Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man making du’a using attributes like يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّومُ (Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum) and يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ (Dhul-Jalali wal-Ikram), and said: "He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name by which, if He is called upon, He answers."
9. When drinking zamzam water.
"The water of Zamzam is for whatever purpose it is drunk."
10. When it rains.
"Two are the supplications that are never turned down: The supplication made at the time of the Adhan, and under the rain.”
11. When travelling.
"Three supplications are answered without doubt: The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of the parent for his child."
12. For your absent brother.
"The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is certainly answered. An angel is appointed at his head...saying 'Ameen, and may you have the same.'"
13. When oppressed.
"Be afraid of the curse (supplication) of an oppressed person, because there is no screen between his invocation and Allah.”

I seek Your protection from all evil: the immediate and the delayed, what I know of and what I do not know.

4- To stand firm upon guidance after finding the truth
O Allah, Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
Our Lord, do not let our hearts swerve from the truth after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Yourself. Surely, You, and You Alone are the Great Bestower.
O Allah, I beg You for guidance, taqwā (piety), chastity and self-sufficiency.
"O Allah, make faith beloved to us and beautify it in our hearts, and make disbelief, wickedness, and disobedience hateful to us, and make us among the rightly guided."
5- For the best character
O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for none guides to the best of it except You. And turn away from me evil character, for none can turn it away from me except You.
6- The Shield Against Your Own Nafs and Destructive Desires
O Allah, I seek Your protection from evil character, evil actions and evil desires.
7- Du’as For Abundance of Good Wealth
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, wholesome sustenance, and deeds which are accepted.
Umm Salamah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhā) narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ performed the Fajr salāh, he would say [the above], while he said the salām. (Ibn Mājah 925)
"O Allah, grant me praise (a good reputation), and grant me honor. There is no honor except through good deeds, and there are no good deeds except with wealth. O Allah, a little amount of wealth does not suffice me, and I cannot thrive upon it."
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your prohibited, and make me independent of all those besides You.
O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty and mercy, as no one has power over it except You.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, mend my affairs, elevate my status, provide for me, guide me, grant me well-being, and pardon me.
8- Protection from Shirk & Riyaa’
O Allah, I seek Your protection from knowingly associating partners with You and seek Your forgiveness for unknowingly (doing so).
9-For knowledge that benefits
O Allah, benefit me with what you have taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.
10- Building a Peaceful, Joyous Home Life
Our Lord, grant us spouses and offspring who will be a joy to our eyes, and make us leaders of those who have taqwa (piety).
11- For unity, good relationships, blessings & forgiveness
O Allah, unite our hearts, set aright our relationships, and guide us to the paths of peace. Bring us out of darknesses into light and protect us from evident and hidden obscenities. Bless us in our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses and our children. Accept our repentance. Indeed, You truly are the Acceptor of repentance, the Ever-Merciful. Make us of those who are grateful for Your blessings, who praise You for them and acknowledge them. Perfect (the blessings) and make them last forever for us.
12- Gaining Allah's Honor
O Allah, grant us more and not less. Honour us and do not disgrace us. Grant us and do not deprive us. Favour us and do not favour others over us. Make us pleased with You and be pleased with us.
13- For best outcome in everything
O Allah, grant us the best outcome in all of our affairs, and protect us from the humiliation of this world and the punishment of the hereafter.
14- Protection from loss of blessings
O Allah, I seek Your protection from the loss of Your favours, the removal of Your complete protection, Your sudden punishment and all that which may incur Your displeasure
15- Asking Allah for Sincere Gratitude
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do good deeds that please You. And admit me by Your mercy amongst Your righteous servants.
16- Du’a for a Purified Nafs
O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from laziness, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. O Allah, grant to my soul its sense of Taqwa(piety) and purify it, for you are the Best Purifier of it. You are the Protecting Friend and Guardian of it. O Allah, I seek refuge in you from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not humble in fear (of Allah), from the soul that is not satisifed and the Du’a that is not answered
17- The Ultimate Grounding in Sincere Thankfulness
All praise is for Allah who feeds and is not fed. He favoured us, and thus guided us, blessed us with food and drink, and bestowed upon us every favour. All praise is for Allah, a praise which we will never bid farewell to, a never-ending praise, an accepted praise and an indispensable praise. All praise is for Allah who provided food and drink; who clothed us, guided us from error, removed our blindness and favoured us greatly over many of His creation. All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.
By the way, if you're wondering where I found all of these, I got them from an app called "dhikr&dua".
It's what I use for all my du'as and my morning, evening & sleep adhkars.
It’s 100% free, and has ALL the Qur’anic & Sunnah du’as. You can create your own custom folders for your fav du'as.
Now, I know this list looks like a lot of du'as, but don't get overwhelmed. You just have to be strategic.
What you can do is split them up into the high-acceptance times.
For example, take 3 du'as each and read them right after the 5 adhans. (3*5=15)
The rest you can byheart, especially the smaller ones, and say them after thashahhud right before the salam of every single prayer.
Write your non-negotiable asks down, get on your knees, and watch what happens.
If you wanna share this letter with someone, you can use this link: www.thehayarayne.com/archive
See you next week, Insha Allah.
Barakallahu Feek.
With love and dua's,
—Haya.
P.S: The du'as give you the divine backing, but remember: you still have to physically tie your camel. You still have to stop scrolling your life away and build the daily discipline & routine to actually change your reality.
If you're struggling with that execution part and need a step by step way to build that discipline, I had put together the Delayed Gratification Code for you.
